The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards: Celebrating 25 Years
The comics industry's "Oscars" turn 25 this year. What are some of the highlights of past Eisner ceremonies? Who has received the most awards and the most nominations over the years? How has the awards program evolved with changes in the comics industry? What is the effect of having a nomination on a creator or a title? Panelists will address these questions and many more. Featuring Jonathan Ross (British talk show host and Eisner Awards presenter), Bill Morrison (Simpsons cartoonist and past Eisner MC), Maggie Thompson (past CBG editor and awards presenter), past multiple award-winner Todd Klein (best letterer), and some surprises! Moderated by Eisner Awards Administrator Jackie Estrada.

Eisner Spirit Award Video Viewing
The Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award is the industry's "Hall of Fame" for progressive retailers. Spirit Award facilitator and award recipient Joe Ferrara (Atlantis Fantasyworld, CA) presents the videos for this year's award finalists, with discussion about each nominated retailer, the store's display techniques, and other unique features every attending retailer can learn from. Syfy Presents the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards
The 25th annual Eisner Awards (the "Oscars" of the comics industry) honor comics creators and works in 30 categories. Presenters will include British talk show host/comics writer Jonathan Ross, bestselling author Neil Gaiman (The Sandman, Ocean at the End of the Lane, Neverwhere), actor John Barrowman (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Arrow), TV host Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead, The Nerdist), nominee artist Becky Cloonan (Conan the Barbarian), Hall of Fame cartoonist Sergio Aragonés (Groo,MAD), writer/artist Bill Morrison (Bongo Comics), and voice actors Maurice LaMarche (Pinky and the Brain, Futurama), Lauren Tom (Futurama, King of the Hil), and David Herman (Office Space, Futurama), plus some special surprises! Other prestigious awards to be given out include the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award, the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award, the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comics Writing, and the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award.

Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival Awards
The films have been shown, now it's time to award the recipients of the 2013 Comic-Con Independent Film Festival with their trophies and recognition! Comic-Con's Gary Sassaman talks to this year's trio of judges -- Alex DeMille (winner of last year's CCI-IFF Judges' Choice award for The Absence), journalist Geoff Boucher (senior writer at Entertainment Weekly and the force behind EW.com's CapeTown) and acclaimed award-winning actress Kathy Najimy (Sister Acts 1 & 2, Hocus Pocus, Rat Race) -- about the films and presents prizes and trophies to the winners.
