Machinima, a network that has been pushing the envelope on content development and creation since day one, has upped the ante once again. Joining forces with some of the most creative talent around, Machinima will discuss fan films, along with all the other mind blowing content Machinima and the creators have up their sleeves. Be a part of the discussion, with the slightly off-their-rocker folks at Machinima, along with a few equally insane special guests, including Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer from Corridor Digital (YouTube.com/CorridorDigital), Kevin Tancharoen (Director & Creator, Mortal Kombat: Legacy), J.C. Reifenberg (Director & Creator, Hughes the Force), and Adi Shankar (Producer, The Punisher: Dirty Laundry, Executive Producer, Dredd and The Grey) as they talk about setting the bar with a new breed of content development, creation and interaction. And of course, a bunch of exclusive, never-before-seen footage will be shown for your viewing pleasure. So you know where you’re going to be Saturday morning, don’t you?

On Thursday, you learned the basics, and on Friday you gained a better understanding of contracts, licenses, and agreements. It's now time to learn about some of the more complex issues facing creators, publishers, and other business owners. Noted attorney Michael Lovitz, author of the classic The Trademark and Copyright Book comic book, returns to address some of the more advanced (and often confusing) issues facing the creative and business communities, particularly in light of the ever-expanding worlds of new media, self-publishing and social networking. And this time, he's not alone, as attorneys David Branfman and David Lizerbram and Professor Marc Greenberg join Michael to share their collective knowledge and insights in some of the more cutting-edge legal issues faced by creators and businesses and discuss important recent legal decisions. Still interactive and four times as informative, the panel will touch on as many of the topics as time allows, including recent rulings in comic book creator and publisher litigations; the interplay of copyright terminations and work-for-hire agreements; blogs, podcasts, tweets, and cybersquatters; knockoffs, tarnishment, and dilution; satires, parodies and fair use; and the legalities of fan art and fan fiction. Plus: practical advice on how recent legal decisions and pending cases are likely to affect the field of popular culture and the role they may play in your creative and business plans. He can control stoplights to manipulate traffic to his benefit, control security cameras to survey his enemies, and stop trains to make an escape. But just how realistic are Aiden's abilities? And how private are our everyday lives with the technology now available? Hosted by Aisha Tyler, panelists will include security consultants to talk about hyperconnectivity and the realities of how secure we really are. Kevin Short (lead story designer) will delve into the realities of today's world and explain what it's like writing for a next-generation game, as well as unveiling never-before-seen footage.
